1 2 .1 Proper usage
Holzmann Maschinen cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damages if there was per-
formed manipulation or adjustments to the machine.
For another usage and resulting dam ages or injuries HOLZMANN MASCHI NEN
doesn’t assum e any responsibilit y or guarantees.
Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activi-
ties contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other
reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints.
• Crystalline silica from bricks, cement, and other masonry products.
• Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To
reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with ap-
proved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out
microscopic particles.
1 2 .2 I ncorrect usage
Operation of the machine that doesn’t agree with this manual is forbidden!
Operation without the safety devices is not allowed.
You mustn’t remove the safety devices!
Incorrect is the usage for materials which aren’t mentioned in this manual.
Changes of the machine’s construction are forbidden.

1 2 .3 Safety instructions
Warning labels and/or other labels on the machine must be replaced when they were removed.
Do not operate t he m achine at insufficient lighting conditions.
Do not operate the m achine outdoors.
Do not operate the m achine w hen you are tired, w hen your concent rat ion is
im paired, and/ or under the influence of drugs, m edication or alcohol.
Clim bing onto the m achine is forbidden! Heavy injuries by falling dow n or by
tilting of the m achine are possible.
