ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Drain the used oil while the engine is warm. Warm oil drains quickly and
completely.

Move the engine cover lock lever (p. 48) down to unlock the cover, and
remove the cover.
Place a suitable container below the engine oil drain location to catch the
used oil, then remove the oil filler cap and the drain plug.
Allow the used oil to drain completely, then reinstall the drain plug, and
tighten it securely.

Improper disposal of engine oil can be harmful to the environment. If you
change your own oil, please dispose of the used oil properly. Put it in a
sealed container, and take it to a recycling center. Do not discard it in a trash
bin or dump it on the ground.
With the outboard motor in a vertical position, fill to the upper limit mark on
the dipstick (p. 48) with the recommended oil (p. 50).
Engine oil capacity: 0.85 US qt (0.8 !, 0.7 Imp qt)
Install the oil filler cap and tighten it securely.
Install the engine cover, and lock it by moving the lever up.
