DRAIN SCREW
Without the choke knob:
Wait for an hour or more
after the engine stops.
Remove the emergency stop
switch clip from the emergency
stop switch (see pages and
).
Put the shift lever or control
lever into the ‘‘N’’ (neutral)
position (see pages and ).
The starting enrichment
system opening opens up
after about an hour.
Making it possible to discharge the
fuel from the starting enrichment
system fuel supply pipe.
Remote control type (see
page )
Tiller handle type (see page
)
Start the engine and idle the
engine until it stops.
Submerge the antiventilation
plate.
Remove the fuel supply hose.
Use up all fuel in the fuel supply
pipe.
Remove fuel from the carburetor
float.
Opening up the starting
enrichment system outlet.
Remove the engine cover (see
page ).
Loosen the drain screw and
drain off the fuel into a
container.
When the fuel has run out,
tighten the screw.
When using the remote control,
turn the engine switch ‘‘OFF’’
after the engine stops.
