FUEL LINE INSPECTION
FUEL PRESSURE RELIEVING/QUICK
CONNECT FITTING REMOVAL
• Before disconnecting fuel hose, relieve pressure
from the system as following procedures.
1. Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
Remove the luggage box (page 3-5).
Disconnect the fuel pump 5P connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch "ON".
3. Start the engine, and let it idle until the engine
stalls.
4. Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
5. Check the fuel quick connect fitting for dirt, and
clean if necessary.
Place a shop towel over the quick connect fitting.
6. Pull the rubber off the fuel feed pipe.
