  If your Honeywell Gas Detectors display a 'Pump failed' message, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the inlet probe is blocked and remove any obstructions, then press the [Y/+] key to reset the pump alarm. Another potential cause is a contaminated water trap filter which should be replaced. If the pump is bad, replace the pump. Be careful not to allow water condensation inside the unit.

How to fix a “Lamp” message on Honeywell Gas Detectors?

  If you see a “Lamp” message when powering on your Honeywell Gas Detectors, it could be due to low ion concentration inside the PID lamp, especially in cold environments. Try turning the unit off and then back on. If the issue persists, the UV lamp may be defective and needs replacement.
