Connect with USB
A scanner or a cordless base can be connected to the USB port of a computer.
1. Connect the appropriate interface cable to the device first, then to the com-
puter.
2. If you are connecting a CCB22-100BT-03N or a COB22-100BT-03N base
horizontally, make sure the cables are secured in the wireways in the bottom of
the cordless base and the base sits flat on a horizontal surface.
Note: The power supply must be ordered separately, if needed.
3. The scanner beeps.
4. Verify the scanner or cordless base operation by scanning a barcode from the
Sample Symbols, beginning on page 289.
