How to troubleshoot a siren that doesn't sound on a Honeywell OMNI 624?
    • M
      montoyasamanthaAug 1, 2025
If the siren/speaker on your Honeywell Security System isn't producing sound, the siren/speaker itself might be faulty. To check, connect 12VDC directly to the siren/speaker; if no sound is produced, replace it. Another potential cause is faulty wiring; inspect the wiring for open or short circuits and replace if necessary. Finally, the panel/bell output may be faulty. Check terminals 3 (+) & 4 (-) for 12VDC when the panel is in alarm (if programmed for bell output); if no voltage is measured, replace the panel.

What to do if my Honeywell OMNI 624 Security System shows 'AC LOSS'?
    • E
      Eric ThomasAug 11, 2025
If the AC/LB light is OFF and the LCD KP displays 'AC LOSS' on your Honeywell Security System, it indicates a loss of primary AC power. Check the transformer connection and AC input voltage. Alternatively, the keypad itself may be faulty and need replacement.

How to fix a Honeywell Security System keypad with no display?
    • L
      Lonnie DeleonAug 20, 2025
If the keypad display on your Honeywell Security System is not lit, it could be due to AC and DC power being out. Check the transformer and battery connection, and verify the AC input and battery voltage with the transformer disconnected. Another possibility is that the keypad is not powered. Check terminal 23 (+) and 20 (-) for 12VDC.
