7. Ensure that the media extends beyond the cutter area in front of the printer.
Lower the print and ribbon mechanism and press down until both locking tabs
snap into place.
8. Close the cover.
9. Make sure you configure these printer settings:
• Thermal transfer or direct thermal printing
• Media type
• Media width and length
10. Press and hold the Print button to print a test label. For help, see About Test
Labels on page 19.
