Checking the remaining battery capacity
Except for the battery icon and power indicator, you can also get the battery
capacity information from Settings.
1. Tap All Applications > Settings
2. Tap Battery. The current percentage of remaining battery capacity and the
remaining time will be displayed. The list will present the power consumed
by each application and service. For detailed usage information, please tap
the respective applications and services in the list.
Battery life and maintenance
Tips for battery maintenance
The expected life of the battery is approximately 500 cycles, or about two years,
if care is taken in charging. Follow these guidelines to maximize life span.
When this happens

The low power icon is
displayed or the power
indicator lights when the
terminal is in use
Power off the terminal. Long press the
power key and choose Turn Off.
The terminal is to be charged
unused overnight or over a
weekend
Power off the terminal to maximize battery
cycle lifespan.
The terminal is to be charged
while in use
Once it is close to a full charge, avoid
continuously charging the terminal while
operating to maximize lifespan. Remove the
terminal from the charging source during
operation. See the chapter on “Charging
While in Use” for more information.
The terminal will be unused
for more than a few minutes
Make sure the low power icon and power
indicators are not on. Switch to sleep mode
by pressing the Power key.
The terminal will be stored for
more than one day
The battery will discharge slowly if it is
removed from the terminal.
To store the terminal for several days (such
as a weekend), install a fully charged battery
or connect the terminal to the power supply
and turn off the terminal.
