4.5.1AccessControlFunctionDescription
Theaccesscontrolsettingitemsincludetheusersaccesstimesegmentsandaccesscombinations.
Thesett ingitemsforeachuserinclude:Thegroupthattheuserbelongsto,andtheavailableaccesstime
segmentsforgroupanduser.Usergroupingmeanstheallocationofausertoacertaingroup,forexample,
Group1orGroup2.Agrouporusercanbesetwiththreepresetaccesstimesegmentsatmost,andthese
timesegmentshavean"OR"relationwithoneanother(thatis,unlocki ngisavailableforagroup/useratany
oneoftheset imesegments).FordetailsontherelationshipbetweentheuseofgroupTSsandtheuserTPs,
see 4.5.3.3UserAccessControlSettings.
Inasimpl eword,theunlockingconditionsforanenrolleduserareasfollows:
1.Thegrouptowhichtheuserbelongsmustlieinanaccesscombination(oritcansharethesameaccess
combinationwithothergroupsandunlocktogetherwiththem).
2.Thecurrentunlockingtimemustrem ainwithinanyoneofvalidaccesstimesegments.
Newly enrolled users areclassifiedinto Group 1bydef ault.The default grouptime segmentis"1".When
Group1andtimesegm ent1bothadoptfactorydefaults,thenewlyenrolledusersareinOpenstate.(Ifauser
modifiestheaccesscontrolsettings,thesystemwillalsochangethesesettingsaccordingly.)Ifthegroupto
whichauserbelongsisinexistentinaccesscombinationsettings,theusercan onlymarkhi s/herattendance
butcannotunlock.
