4. If the WLAN antenna is not connected to the terminal on the WLAN module, install a protective
sleeve on the antenna connector, as shown in the following illustration.
To install the WLAN module, reverse this procedure.
Speakers
To remove the speakers, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 31).
Remove the speakers:
1. Disconnect the speaker cables (1) from the system board.
2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (2) that secure each speaker to the computer.
3. Lift the speakers (3) out of the computer.
NOTE: When removing the speakers, make note of the location of the four rubber isolator
locations (4). The absence of or damage to these isolators can result in degraded speaker
performance.
