To remove the USB/audio board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the USB/audio board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 31).
Remove the USB/audio board:
1. Remove the tape (1) from the connector on the USB/audio board.
2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector (2) on the board.
3. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (3) from the board.
