6. From the bottom, push up on the touchpad to remove it from the computer.
To install the touchpad, reverse this procedure.

To remove the IR board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the IR board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 31).
Remove the IR board:
1. Remove the tape (1) from the connector on the IR board.
2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector (2) on the board.
3. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (3) from the board .
