Field Names Description
Printer Name The printer name is displayed in Network Neighborhood as a printer configured
on the appliance.
It can be up to 79 characters long, including alphanumeric characters and the
following special characters: _ - + , .
(Printer names longer than 12 characters might cause problems with Windows 9x
and ME or MS-DOS clients. Various LPD implementations might also have
length restrictions.)

Hide this

Network
Neighborhood
Select this option to hide this printer's name in Network Neighborhood for
clients. (This does not prevent the printer from being used, just from being
displayed in Network Neighborhood.)
Print Banner

Select this option to insert a banner page at the beginning of each print job. (The
contents of the banner page are not configurable.)
