Before removing the optical drive, follow these steps:
▲ Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 25).
Remove the optical drive:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.5 × 6.0 screw (1) that secures the drive to the computer.
2. Slide the optical drive out of the computer (2).
