Rewritable Optical Disk Drive
Installation
The following paragraphs describe how to install a rewritable optical disk drive
into your mass storage system.
Caution

A rewritable optical disk drive and a rewritable optical
controller peA can only be installed into slot 1 (right front
corner). If you try to install a rewritable optical controller peA
into slot 3, you may damage the rewritable optical controller
peA.
Unpacking the Upgrade Kit
Unpack and identify the contents of the upgrade kit. Figure 5-1 shows the
contents of the rewritable optical disk drive upgrade kit.
