3. Remove the fingerprint reader board (4) from the computer.
To install the fingerprint reader board, reverse this procedure.

Before removing the WWAN board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 62).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 62).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 74).
1. Disconnect the cable from the smaller ZIF connector (1) on the WWAN board.
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screw (2) that secures the board to the computer.
3. Lift the board (3) up enough to access the connector underneath.
