Lift the SSD board straight up and off the system board.
To install the SSD board, reverse this procedure.

Before removing the NFC module, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 62).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 62).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 74).
Remove the NFC module:
1. Gently remove the protective tape (1) that covers the module. Reuse the tape during replacement.
NOTE: Remove the protective tape gently to avoid damaging or breaking the tape.
2. Disconnect the system board cable from the ZIF connector (2) on the top of the NFC module.
3. Disconnect the touchpad antenna cable from the ZIF connector (3) on the bottom of the NFC
module.
