Remove the touchpad:
1. Move the speaker cable (1) from the touchpad.
NOTE: If you have to remove tape from the cable, be careful to leave the cable intact.
2. Disconnect the system board cable from the ZIF connector (2) on the touchpad.
3. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector (3) on the NFC module.
4. Remove the four Phillips M2.0× 2.0 screws (4) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
5. Remove the three Phillips M1.6 × 2.0 screws (5) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
6. Remove the touchpad (6) from the computer.
To install the touchpad, reverse this procedure.
Heat sink
To remove the heat sink, use these procedures and illustrations.

Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 62).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 62).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 74).
