3. Detach the NFC module cable (3) from the computer. The NFC module cable is attached to the top
cover with keyboard with double-sided adhesive.
4. Remove the NFC module cable.
To install the NFC module cable, reverse this procedure.

Before removing the NFC module, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 39).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 39).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41).
4. Remove the NFC module cable (see NFC module cable on page 62).
Remove the NFC module:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) the NFC module cable is connected to, and then disconnect the NFC
module cable from the NFC module.
