3. Detach the touchpad cable (3) from the computer. The touchpad cable is attached to the computer
with double-sided adhesive.
To install the touchpad cable, reverse this procedure.

NOTE: The touchpad spare part kit includes touchpad.

Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 39).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 39).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41).
4. Remove the NFC module cable (see NFC module cable on page 62).
5. Remove the touchpad cable (see Touchpad cable on page 64).
Remove the touchpad:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) the NFC module cable is connected to, and then disconnect the NFC
module cable from the NFC module.
