Audio jack
To remove the audio jack, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the audio jack, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 39).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 39).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 41).
Remove the audio jack:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screw (1) that secures the audio jack to the computer.
2. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (2) the audio jack cable is connected to, and then
disconnect the cable from the system board.
3. Remove the audio jack (3) from the computer.
To install the audio jack, reverse this procedure.
Connector board cable
To remove the connector board cable, use this procedure and illustration.
NOTE: The connector board cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number N09288-001.
Before removing the connector board cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 39).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 39).
