Before removing the left speaker, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 29).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30).
4. Remove the left solid-state drive (see Solid-state drive on page 32).
Remove the left speaker:
1. Disconnect the USB board cable from the system board.
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screw from the speaker (1).
3. Use tweezers to disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (2).
4. Remove the speaker from the computer (3).
NOTE: Be sure that the rubber gaskets are installed in the mounting holes in the speaker (4) before
installation.
Reverse this procedure to install the left speaker.
Memory modules
To remove the memory modules, use this procedure and illustration.
