Converter board 665466-001
The converter board is located on the left side of the computer (viewed from behind). It is secured
with two screws and has two connectors.
When replacing a converter board or display panel, make sure the jumper on the converter board is
set correctly for the display panel.
CAUTION: Failure to properly set the converter board jumpers can result in damage to the
converter board.
Determining panel manufacturer
Remove the rear cover to determine the panel manufacturer by looking at the cable that connects
from the panel to the converter board as follows:
(1) FFC cable = LG panel
(2) Wired cable = Samsung panel
