Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 34).
2. Remove the following components:

c. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 39)
d. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 40)
e. Solid-state drive or Optane memory module (see Solid-state drive on page 42)
f. WWAN module and bracket (see WWAN module on page 43)
g. WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 45)
h. Memory module (see Memory on page 37)
i. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 47)
