Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol
Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is designed to provide remote display and input capabilities
over network connections for Windows-based applications running on a server. RDP services are accessed
by the Terminal Services client application on the thin client. RDP can be made available on the network
using any of the following services:

Microsoft Windows 2000 Server with Terminal Services installed
●
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server Edition
●
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
●
Microsoft Windows .NET Server
