Setting the I/O timeout parameter
Set the I/O timeout value for each disk device to 30 seconds.
To change the I/O timeout parameter:
1. V erify the current I/O time-out value using the pvdisplay command:

2. If the I/O tim
eout value is not 30, change the value to 30 using the pvchange
-t command:
