4. Remove the access panel.
5. Remove all drives from the drive cage.
6. Remove the front panel/drive cage assembly.
7. Remove the storage controller.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Removing and replacing the drive backplane
Procedure
1. Power down the compute module.
2. Remove the compute module.
3. Place the compute module on a flat, level work surface.
4. Remove the access panel.
5. Remove all drives.
6. Remove all drive blanks.
CAUTION:
Remove all drives and drive blanks before removing the drive backplane.
7. Disconnect the premium backplane cable.
8. Remove the front panel/drive cage assembly.
9. Remove the drive backplane from the front panel/drive cage assembly.
