4.7 FE/GE Cable
The FE/GE cable connects the BBU to the transmission device through routing devices and
transmits baseband signals.
NOTE
The maximum length of the FE/GE cable for remote connection is 100 m.
Exterior
The FE/GE cable is a shielded straight-through cable. It has an RJ-45 connector at each end, as
shown in Figure 4-8.
