Cable Connections in 2x2 MIMO Mode
The base station in UMTS only mode supports 2x2 MIMO. Figure 5-84 shows the cable
connections.
RF Cable Connections for LRFUs
The LRFU supports a single carrier.
The following description is based on the RF cable connections for LRFUs supporting a single
sector.
The LRFU supports only the 2T2R configuration.

In 2T2R mode, the following items are configured:
l A dual-polarized antenna
l An LRFU
