exception occurs, select a proper overcurrent protection device in compliance with
local power distribution regulations.
● Do not connect loads between a PCS and an AC switch that directly connects to
the PCS. Otherwise, the switch may trip by mistake.
● If an AC switch is used with
specications beyond local standards, regulations,
or the Company's recommendations, the switch may fail to turn
o in a timely
manner in case of exceptions, causing serious faults.
Each PCS must be equipped with an AC output switch. Multiple PCSs cannot
connect to the same AC switch.
● The cable outer diameter can be measured using the ruler sticker in the
maintenance compartment.
● Ensure that the cable jacket is in the maintenance compartment.
● Ensure that the AC power cables are connected securely. Otherwise, the Smart
PCS may fail to operate, or become overheated during operation due to an
unreliable connection, which will damage the terminal block.
● Do not pull the cables horizontally after they have been secured, as this may
damage the wiring terminals.
Step 1 Prepare cables by referring to section A Crimping an OT or DT Terminal.
Step 2 Remove rubber rings according to the cable diameter range.
Step 3 Connect the AC power cables to the terminal block and ensure that the cables are
securely connected.
