1.6 Verifying the Installation
Table 1-8 Installation checklist
No. Item Acceptance Criteria
1 Cable layout Cable layout is designed to facilitate
future cable routing. Cables are routed
properly, meeting the design
requirements.
2 Battery cables All cables are tightened to the
specied torque using a torque
wrench, connected correctly, and free
of damage.
3 Network ports The communication cables, such as
network cables, are connected
correctly and securely.
4 Cable labels Both ends of a cable are labeled.
Labels are concise and easy to
understand.
5 Grounding The battery ground cable is securely
connected to the ground bar in the
equipment room. The resistance
between them is less than 0.1 ohm.
6 Cable ties Cable ties are secured evenly and no
burr exists.
7 Operating environment Conductive dust and other sundries are
cleaned around batteries.
8 Cable circuit Check that cables are open-circuited
using a multimeter or an insulation
resistance tester.
9 Cover installation After the checks are performed,
reinstall all the covers.
10 Storage environment After the installation is complete, do
not store the equipment in an
environment where the temperature
and humidity are uncontrollable for a
long period of time. Otherwise, the
equipment may be damaged due to
condensation.
