Use needle-nose pliers to pull the cord knot from the cord driver in the headrail. Pull the cord taut so the loop moves freely through the tensioner. Mark the cord near the driver (use white on cocoa or black cords). Remove the UCT, tie a double knot at the mark, and let it retract into the driver. Pull down on the screw hole to relieve the tension on the UCT. Pull the entire UCT to the bottom of the cord loop. Properly mount the UCT and attach the cord tensioner according to the instructions provided with the UCT Installation Kit.
