12.17 Installing the air filter

– Clean the air filter box.

Mount air filter

Info
The air filter must lie flush against the air filter box along the entire sealing sur-
face
.
If the air filter is not mounted correctly, dust and dirt may enter the engine and
result in damage.

Hook air filter box top
into the front of the air filter box and swing down.

Mount and tighten screws

Guideline
Screw, air filter box top M6 2 Nm (1.5 lbf ft)
Finishing work
– Mount the seat. ( p. 90)
