Check the frame for damage, cracks, and deformation.
» If the frame shows signs of damage, cracks, or deforma-
tion:
Change the frame.
Guideline
Repairs on the frame are not permitted.
12.38 Checking the link fork

» If the link fork exhibits damage, cracking, or deformation:
Change the link fork.

Always replace a damaged link fork. Repair of
the link fork is not authorized by Husqvarna
Motorcycles.
12.39 Checking the throttle cable routing
Warning
Danger of accidentsThe throttle cable can become kinked, trapped or blocked if it is not routed cor-
rectly.
If the throttle cable is kinked, trapped or blocked, the speed can no longer be controlled.
Make sure that the throttle cable routing and the play in throttle cable complies with the specifica-
tion.
Preparatory work
Remove the air filter box cover. ( p. 68)
Remove the seat. ( p. 67)
Remove the right side cover. ( p. 72)
Remove the fuel tank. ( p. 73)
