7. R-axis Encoder & DC Motor Ass’y Replacement
1. Open the Top Cover and Side Cover.
2. Remove the Bottom Plate.
Refer to [4. R-axis Rotation Cable Replacement - Step ‘1’].
3. Disconnect the connector that is linked to the Middle I/F Board.
4. Remove locking screws from the DC Motor I/F Board and separate the DC Motor I/F Board.
5. Disconnect the DC Motor Cable connector and Encoder Cable connector from the R-axis Encoder &
DC Motor Ass’y.
6. Remove screw that is holding the R-axis Encoder & DC Motor Ass’y and screw for spring.
Take off the R-axis Encoder & DC Motor Ass’y.
7. Replace it with a new one in reverse order.
8. Check the backlash between Encoder Pinion and R-Encoder Rack according to below process.
① Remove the upper cover referring to [5. Big Idler Gear & Step Motor Gear Replacement- Step
‘2’ to step ‘9’].
② Remove the Dust Plate.
