5.4. CONNECTINGUPTHEMAINPUMP
Option no. 1. Recommended: Oxymatic controls and commands the main pump.
Connect the power-supply cables for the control unit to the electric panel of the pump with shield.
OXYMATIC connects /disconnects the power by automated or manual programming. To do this, we
pass the cable that emerges from the differential at the contactor’s A2 input through the control unit.
If the installer is confronted with an electric panel with a pump programmer (see illustration below), he
will need to make the following modifications:
With the new electric panels there is no need for a pump programmer, since Oxymatic takes care of
this function.
Option no. 2: OXYMATIC operates in parallel with the main pump, and is controlled by the programmer of
the recirculation pump.
When the time-meter which controls the supply to the main existing pump emits power to start up the
pump, it will do likewise for the control unit, so that it will start up and shut down both systems
together.

1. Remove cable A2 from contactor
