Installation, Programming and Maintenance User Guide Oxymatic Smart
V. 1.3.2. May 2015
25
WARNING: At pools with a lining it is necessary to exercise caution, and to ensure that the pH does
not exceed 7.6. It is from that point that copper begins to precipitate and, given the properties of
the lining, blue stains - which are difficult to remove - may appear in the pool.
Putting into operation: procedure for pH CONTROL
In the case of private pools, fix the LOW set-point at 7.0 pH, and the HIGH set-point at 8 pH.
In the case of public pools, fix the LOW set-point to 7.3 pH, and HIGH set-point to 8 pH. Raise or lower
the set-point acc0rding to the actual water measurement of the pool basin.
Putting into operation: procedure for the CONTROL of residual Redox and Chlorine
In order to maintain a concentration of residual chlorine of 0.5 mg/l in a public pool, we proceed as
follows:
- Fix the LOW set-point to 720 mV, and the HIGH set-point to 300 mV.
- Wait one day and measure the chlorine in the pool with DP1 pellets or drips.
- If the level is low, it is necessary to raise the LOW set-point from 720 to 740 mV; if the level is high, it
must be lowered to 700 mV. And so on every day until the pool is in balance, and chlorine is at the
desired level (between 0.5 and 0.7mg/l).
