7.3. Charging the battery
► Before charging
• Inspect the charging socket and charger for damage regularly. Never charge the battery,
or use the e-bike, if you suspect it to be damaged or broken.
• Make sure the socket and AC plug of the charger are undamaged and dry before connecting
and charging the battery.
► Indicator on charger
• During the charging process, the LED indicator on the charger will illuminate red.
• When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator on the charger will turn green.

Note
If the red LED indicator ashes during the charging process, a charging error has occurred.
In that case, immediately remove the charger from the socket. Discontinue the use of the
assist system and contact your local authorised bike shop.
