A special consideration has been made with regard to the vacuum parameters. A default value of zero
(0) is programmed for all new programs. When the value of the vacuum is zero, all parameters
regarding vacuum are lighted out in yellow and are not used, (see Display Example #25). When the
vacuum box is touched, the vacuum boxes will appear and can be programmed.
Display Example #26
The vacuum level entered can be any value between 15 – 76 cm (5 – 30in). A value entered outside
this range of values will produce an error message. If 76 cm (30in) is entered, the program will run the
vacuum pump continuously regardless of the actual vacuum level as long as a minimum level of 73cm
(28.5) is obtained for minimum vacuum requirements. The Start Vac can be any value equal to or
greater than the Low Temp value and must be lower than the High Temp value. The Release Vac
value must be greater than the Start Vac value and less than or equal to the High Temp.
NOTE! When using a Vac Hold time other than (0), the Release Vac must be set to zero (0) as the
Vac Hold timer starts once High Temp has been reached. If Vac Hold time is not required then this
value must be (0) and a Release Vac temperature must be entered. If both non-zero parameters are
entered then an error message will be displayed.
The following are examples of Vacuum error messages:
Display Example #27
The above error occurs when the Start Vac temperature entered is not equal to or greater than the Low
Temp temperature entered.
