Code Dump Mode
The code dump mode allows you to print
all the data the controller receives from the
IBM system in a hexadecimal format.
Entering Code Dump mode
To access the Code Dump mode provided
by the controller:
1 Power off the printer.
2 Set the ADDRESS switch to address
7.
3 Power on the printer. After the MPI
configuration has printed, set the
ADDRESS switch on the interface I/O
to the device’s current address (0-6)
on the host system.
note
In order to use the "Code Dump Mode", the
MPI must be receiving data from the host
computer.
