f. Locate the microprocessor installation tool that comes with the new
microprocessor.
Note: The microprocessor installation tool assembly comes with the
microprocessor and microprocessor cover attached to the tool. The
microprocessor comes protected between the tool and the microprocessor
cover.

g. Remove the microprocessor installation tool assembly from the package.
Note: Do not rotate the handle on the tool until you are ready to install the
microprocessor into the microprocessor socket.
h. Remove the cover from the bottom of the microprocessor installation tool.
Press both microprocessor cover release tabs outward (in opposite
directions as shown in the illustration) and remove the microprocessor
installation tool with the microprocessor attached.

i. Carefully align the microprocessor installation tool over the microprocessor
socket.
