4.1.1 (1) CABIN
1. Baggage Area—SECURE stored items
2. Throttle Lever—CHECK freedom of motion
3. Controls—CHECK freedom of motion to all stops
4. Landing Gear Switch—VISUALLY CHECK DOWN (land)/UP
(water)
5. Rudder Pedal Area and Parking Brake—CHECK clear and no
fluid leaks
6. Master Switch—ON
7. Strobe Lights—VERIFY all lights illuminate
8. Fuel Quantity—CHECK/CONFIRM
9. Landing Gear Position Indicator—VISUALLY VERIFY DOWN
(land)/UP (water)
10. Bilge Pump—ON (verify operation & bilge empty)/OFF
11. Water Rudder—VISUALLY inspect and VERIFY operation
12. Circuit Breakers and Fuses—CHECK IN and NONE LIT
13. Master Switch—OFF
