Using soapy water on both sides,
perform a crankcase leak down test
using pressure gauge and vacuum gauge.

Crankcase separation.
The universal puller and grip plate are
required to separate the crankcase.

Use pressure gauge to perform a leak
down test. Pressure should hold at 7 psi
(0.5 bar).
