2.5.4. Making relative measurements
The DE-5000 meter can make relative measurements.
This option is controlled by the
REL%
key. When the
Relative mode is active, the display shows the
∆
symbol.
Note
: this option is not available in the
Auto
LCR
mode. Nor can it be activated when the
parameter being tested is outside of meter limits.
The meter uses the following formula to calculate
relative measurements:
