Thethrottletrimlever(locatedimmediatelytotherightoftheleft‐hand/throttlestick)canbe
usedtoadjustthethrottlecontrol/channeloutputvalueforagivenstickposition.For
example,raisingthethrottletrimleverwillmakeitpossibletomaintainaltitudewiththe
helicopterwhentheleft‐hand/throttlestick
isinalowerposition.
Thethrottletrimcanalsobeusedtoincreasethemaximumamountofpoweravailablewhen
theleft‐handstickisraisedtothehighestpossibleposition.Wedonottypicallyrecommend
raisingthethrottletrimwhenflyingindoors(especiallywhenflyingunderrelativelylow
ceilings)butitcanbehelpfultoraisethethrottletrimwhenflyingoutdoors.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do raise the
throttletrimleveryouMUSTrememberto
lower it AND the throttle stick to their
lowest possible positions IMMEDIATELY in
the event of a crash or rotor blade strike.
Failure to lower the throttle trim and
throttle stick to their lowest possible
positions immediately in the event of a
crash/rotor blade strike can result in
damage to the ESCs in the 3‐in‐1 control
unit (which may require replacement of
thecontrolunit).
Movingtheleft‐handstick
totheleftwillturn(yaw)thenoseofthehelicoptertotheleft
abouttheaxisofthemainshaft.Thisisaccomplishedbyincreasingthespeed/RPMsofthe
lowersetofmainrotorbladeswhiledecreasingthespeed/RPMsoftheuppersetofmain
rotorblades.
