technologywillNOTbeactivated(turnedon)until
afterthethrottlestickhasbeenraised
aboveapproximatelythe1/3positionfor5seconds.Ifyouaretakingofffromanareathat
mayhavemanyobstacles/objectsnearthegroundand/orsurroundingthehelicopterthis5
seconddelayshouldallowyouenoughtimetocomfortablytakeoffandclimb
toasafe
altitudeabovetheobstacles/objectsbeforethetechnologybecomesactiveautomatically.
Also,thetechnologywillturnoffautomatically,evenwhenthe‘GEAR’switchontheMP5H
transmitter(ortheswitch/knobforthecorrespondingchannelonyourchosentransmitter)
issettotheON(1)position,anytimeyoulandthehelicopterand/orlowerthethrottle
stickbelowthe1/3position.Thetechnology
willnotbeactivated(turnedon)againuntil
afterthestickhasbeenraisedabovethe1/3positionfor5seconds.
LOMode
WhentheswitchissettotheLOmodeposition,thetechnologywillworktodetect
obstacles/objectsfrom‘closer’distancesandwillrespondless‘firmly’(comparedtotheHI
mode)toavoidcollisionswithanyobstacles/objectsitdetects.Thismakesitpossibletostill
usethetechnologyevenwhenflyingin
smallerindoorspacesand/orspacescontainingmore
obstacles/objects.Theactualdistanceofdetectionandthecorrespondingresponsewillvary
dependingonthefactorspreviouslynoted,however,itcanbeupwardsof2.2feet
(approximately0.7meters)forcertainobstacles/objectsinidealconditions/circumstances.
WetypicallyrecommendusingC.A.T.intheLOmodewhenflyinginsmallerindoorspaces
(approximately10‐feetby10‐feetandlarger)and/orspacescontainingmore
obstacles/objects.Itisalsotypicallybesttousethe‘Low(LO)’controlratesettingonthe
transmitterand/orminimalcontrolinputstokeepthe
helicopterfromtravelingtooquickly
towardobstacles/objectswheneverpossible.
IMPORTANTNOTE:IntheLOmode,wheneverthe‘GEAR’switchontheMP5Htransmitter
(ortheswitch/knobforthecorrespondingchannelonyourchosentransmitter)issettothe
ON(1)positionthetechnologyWILLbeactivated(turnedon)atalltimesandregardlessof
thepositionofthethrottlestick.
Thismeansthetechnologywillnotturnoffunlessyou
movetheswitchonthetransmittertotheOFF(0)position.
