Programming a Single S.A.M.E. County Code
Programming Multiple S.A.M.E. County Codes
1. Turn o the unit by pressing POWER AL OFF on top of the unit.
2. Press
SETUP to open menu options.
3. Rotate the
SEARCH wheel to scroll through menu options until “3. COUNTY CODE” is displayed.
4. Press ENTER followed by the SEARCH wheel to scroll through ”ALL”, “SINGLE” or “MULTIPLE”.
5. Choose “SINGLE”, followed by ENTER. ”Code 01” will be displayed and the rst digit space will
start blinking.
6. Use the
SEARCH wheel to scroll through the digits 0-9. Input the rst digit and press ENTER to
conrm that selection and move to the next digit.
7. Continue programming all 6 digits this way. When nished, press
ENTER and your entered code
will be saved.
NOTE: The single county code you set will automatically become the “CODE 01” of multiple county codes.
1. Press SETUP to open menu options while unit is in standby mode.
2. Rotate the
SEARCH wheel to scroll through menu options until “3. COUNTY CODE” is displayed.
3. Press SELECT and then rotate the SEARCH wheel to scroll through “ALL”, “SINGLE” or “MULTIPLE”.
4. Choose “MULTIPLE”, and press
ENTER.
5. Use the
SEARCH wheel to scroll through code locations 1-25. (You are able to program up to 25
dierent county codes into your radio).
6. Choose the location you want and press
ENTER. The rst digit space will start blinking.
7. Use the
SEARCH wheel to scroll through the digits 0-9. Input the rst digit and press ENTER to
save that selection and move to the next digit.
8. Continue programming all 6 digits this way. When nished, press
ENTER and your entered code
will be saved.
9. To program your next code, rotate the
SEARCH wheel to go to the next code location. When
you have entered all your desired codes, press
SETUP to store your settings.
