Key Items
Description
IKE
Internet Key Exchange Protocol
Main Mode
An IKE exchange method; the main mode should be used in the
occasions with higher requirements on Identity Protection.
Aggressive mode
An IKE exchange method; the aggressive mode using less exchange
packets can improve the speed of negotiation in the occasions with
lower requirements on Identity Protection.
Connection Detection
(DPD)
It is used for detection of IPSec neighbor status. Afte starting up the
DPD function, DPD query can be triggered when the receiving
terminal cannot receives the IPSec encrypted packets from the
opposite terminal within the interval of trigger DPD and request
packets will be automatically sent to the opposite terminal to detect
whether IKE peers exist.
