Preface
■ Introduction
The AM500 is a new generation of medium‑sized PLC which supports EtherCAT bus
control and dual‑port network switching function, FB/FC‑based technology
encapsulation and reuse, and multi‑level network communication through RS485,
Ethernet and EtherCAT interfaces. It support 16 expansion modules. RS485/RS232/DI/
DO/AI/AO/RTC clock/TF card functions can be provided through the expansion cards.
This guide describes installation and wiring of the PLC, including product information,
mechanical installation, and electrical installation.
